On Sunday we went to Firehouse Subs for lunch. Jillian decided she wanted to try my pickle. I figured she would make a face and turn up her nose but I was wrong, she LOVED it! She sucked the juice out of the entire thing!

Jillian cut her first tooth! She has been extra fussy the past week and hasn’t been sleeping good and now we know why! My little sweet pea is growing up!
I have been dreading swimsuit season. We love swimming in my dad’s pool and going to the lake but I HATE the way I look in a swimsuit. I needed a new suit this year since last years was maternity and is too big. We went to Target last night and I found a really cute one. It was $35 but when we got to the register it only rang up $15 so it made it even better! We will be heading to the lake on Friday night so I’ll get to test it out on Saturday. No matter how much I love the suit I still won’t be hanging out without shorts on, I hate HATE HATE my thighs!
Edit: I forgot to mention Jillian has this matching suit from BabyGap (no I didn’t plan it, Michael’s mom bought her the suit and I just happened to like the fit of mine):

I am a huge America’s Next Top Model fan and I am SOOOO excited that a plus size model won last night! I am still really pissed that size ten is considered plus size but I am VERY happy that a size negative zero girl didn’t win! Way to go Whitney!

Jenna is back in rehab. The place she walked out of a few weeks ago took her back. She has been there since last Thursday. My dad called and checked on her yesterday and they said she was doing pretty good. We’ll see…
My grandmother (my dad’s mom) is very sick. They have called in hospice. She lives in Kansas and has not yet met Jillian. We were planning on going up in the fall to see her but since she has taken a turn for the worse we are planning on leaving next Friday. It will be a 12 hour drive so we are stopping for the night half way (near St. Louis). Hopefully Jillian does well on the drive. We will come home on Tuesday the 20th.
Michael had applied for a new job with his company. HOPEFULLY he will get it, they have expressed their interest in him and it pretty much looks like he will get the job. The good news is he will be working Monday- Friday only 10 hours a day. NO MORE NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS!!!!!!! The bad news is Jillian will have to go to the babysitter more but we feel it will be worth it for him to not have to work nights anymore.
